Risen 3: Titan Lords Cheat Codes (PC Version)
Warning: Using cheat codes can take away from the challenge and enjoyment of Risen 3. But, if you're set on it, here's a guide.
Activating Cheats
There are two main ways to activate cheats in Risen 3:
- Test Mode:**
- Locate the `ge3.ini` file in the Risen3\Data folder.
- Open the file with a text editor like Notepad.
- Find the line `[Game] TestMode=false` and change it to `[Game] TestMode=true`.
- Save the changes and launch the game.
- Marvin Mode:**
- Press the tilde key (`~`) to open the console (during gameplay).
- Type the word "minsky" (very fast) and press Enter.
- You'll see a message saying "Test Mode Activated." Now, press the F2 key to activate Marvin Mode (another message will confirm this).
General Cheats (Marvin Mode)
These cheats only work in Marvin Mode.
- god - Enables god mode (invincibility).
- god off - Disables god mode.
- fullhealth - Restores your health and learning points (also called Soul).
- give Item_Name - Spawns a specific item (replace "Item_Name" with the actual item code. Find lists online by searching for "Risen 3 item codes").
- give It_Gold Amount - Gives you a specific amount of gold (replace "Amount" with the desired number).
- open all - Opens all locked doors and chests in the current area (use with caution!).
- unlock selected - Unlocks a specific interactable object you're targeting.
- kill - Kills the currently targeted enemy.
- time. timescale X - Sets the game speed (X is a number, 1 being normal speed).
- time set HH MM - Sets the in-game time (HH for hours, MM for minutes).
Alternatives to Cheats
Consider these alternatives to using cheats:
- Complete quests and explore the world to earn gold and powerful equipment.
- Train with different teachers to improve your skills and Soul level.
- Craft potions, weapons, and armor to enhance your character.
- There are mods available that can add new content or make gameplay adjustments without resorting to cheats.
