Risen 2: Dark Waters Cheat Codes (PC Version)
Warning: Using cheat codes can take away from the challenge and enjoyment of Risen 2. But, if you're set on it, here's a guide.
Unlocking Test Mode
To enable cheat codes in Risen 2, you need to unlock Test Mode:
- Locate the `ge2.ini` file in the Risen2\Data folder.
- Open the file with a text editor like Notepad.
- Find the line `[Game] TestMode=false` and change it to `[Game] TestMode=true`.
- Save the changes and launch the game.
Activating Cheats
Once Test Mode is unlocked, you can activate cheats by opening the console during gameplay:
- Press the tilde key (`~`) to open the console.
- Type the following command (very fast) and press Enter: `marvin`
- You'll see a message confirming "Marvin mode activated."
General Cheats
These cheats only work in Marvin Mode.
- god - Enables god mode (invincibility).
- god off - Disables god mode.
- fullhealth - Restores your health.

Alternatives to Cheats
Consider these alternatives to using cheats:
- Complete quests to earn gold and powerful equipment.
- Explore the game world thoroughly to find hidden treasures and secrets.
- Train with different teachers to improve your skills.
- There are mods available that can enhance the game without resorting to cheats.
